St. Mark’s 2021 Goals
Provide faith-building opportunities in order to deepen friendships among children, youth and families and to create stronger intergenerational relationships between all members of the congregation.
Build consensus with the congregation of St. Mark’s regarding space requirements for future developments and provide a comprehensive list to the Martin Luther Tower development team.
The congregation will seek actively to become antiracist through: our public witness against racism, evaluation of St. Mark’s policies and practices, and collaboration with outside groups in pursuit of social justice and racial equity.
St. mark’s 2021 Open Questions
We have 3 open questions that are guiding our congregational discussion this year in order to help us focus on our priorities for this year. They are:
What changes to our ministries, in the new normal, do we want to make in order to increase participation in our congregational life, based on what we learned during the pandemic?
How might we create new and diverse revenue opportunities in a pandemic environment?
How can we get to know and serve our neighbors in the Western Addition?
