6:00 p.m. Midweek Supper All are welcome to join for a community dinner prepared by church members in Heritage Hall prior to worship. 6:45 p.m. Midweek Worship You are invited to give yourself a gift in the middle of your week. This worship service will refresh you and leave you with a sense of calm and security. You will be fed through singing, and quiet contemplation of scripture. In our peaceful Sanctuary lit with candles, you will feel God's presence and trust more deeply that you are God's beloved child. Come and be fed.
Adult Education
Small groups meet weekly during the daytime or evening and focus on different books of the bible. No bible study experience is necessary – just come and bring your questions! We are using the Lutheran Study Bible which is available for purchase. These groups meet throughout the year including the summer.
Adult Forums are a variety of educational events on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. from September through June. We aim to create an environment that presents adults with opportunities to grow in a vibrant relationship with God and God’s creation and to serve and witness as Christ’s disciples. We have presentations on Scripture, theology and ethics, church activities, social ministries and other topics relevant to our life and times.
This year the forums will be a moveable feast - moving from the brief coffee hour after the 9:00 service sometimes to the Fireside Room in the Urban Life Center and sometimes staying in Heritage Hall to learn and explore together. Just follow the ADULT FORUM signs. We will meet from 9:10 to 10:50.
If you would like to participate in the planning of our education opportunities, please speak with one of the Pastors.
