Sunday School
Sunday School begins each Sunday with Pastor Ekdale and children's time during the worship service in the auditorium. Classes
are located in the lower level of the Urban Life
Center and include children from 3 years old to 6th grade. For
more information call the church office.
Child Care During All Worship Services
Child Care ministry at St. Mark's is a very important part of our ministry with families. St. Mark's provides qualified childcare during worship services throughout the entire year. The Nursery, currently located off the auditorium lobby in the Urban Life Center, is staffed by our warm and professional, Trustline® registered childcare attendants, Elvira and Gladys.
Provided on Sundays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, your child will be safely and kindly cared for while you worship and fellowship. Parents are welcome to stay with their child in the Nursery until she/he is comfortable. Infants through children of nine years of age are welcome throughout the morning. Parents, please remember to sign in and sign out when you drop off and pick up your child.
Parents with Kidlettes
The Parents with Kidlettes group meets
the first Sunday of the month at 10:00 am in Heritage Hall. This group is a ministry of St. Mark's where parents can meet other parents in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. We have several brand new parents in our community plus many seasoned parents, which produces lively conversation, sharing, and reflection on the joys and challenges of parenting. Come and meet new friends. Pastor Ekdale or one of the many parents in the small group facilitates our conversations together. |
